Ovo je glavna stranica projekta Vikirečnik Tezaurus, podprojekat Vikirečnika i prostor za imenovanje vikija koji ima za cilj kreiranje tezaurusa, rečnika synonyms, antonyms, i dalje semantički povezani termini kao što su hyponyms, hypernyms, meronyms, i holonyms. Svrha Vikizvornog tezaurusa je da služi ulogu elektronskog tezaurusa - rečnika sinonima, blizu sinonima i antonimuma, i blizu antonimuma, ali i drugih semantički povezanih pojmova kao što su hiponimi, hipernimi, meronimi, holonimi.

Svrha takvog tezaurusa uopšte je da pomogne svima koji pišu za žive ili zabavne pisce, menadžere, učesnike vikija, blogere i pisce ljubavnih pisama - da pronađu reči koje se ne sećaju ili čak znaju kada se sećaju reči koje su semantički povezane s traženom riječju. Uopšteno govoreći, svako kome je riječ o izboru riječi može imati koristi od tezaurusa, posebno one povezane sa rječnikom koji pruža definicije.

Dodata vrednost Viktionari Thesaurus je njegova integracija Viktionari-ona povezuje i povezuje se sa Viktionari-om.

Candidate model thesauri include Roget's thesaurus, and, say, The Penguin Thesaurus. The two follow different design principles.

Multilingualism uredi

English Wiktionary Thesaurus is multilingual; it contains entries for other languages than English[1]. Such entries include Tezaurus:příbuzný and Tezaurus:juoppo. An alternative naming of the entries is "Tezaurus:cs:příbuzný" and "Tezaurus:fi:juoppo", in part modeled on the naming of topic categories. Yet another alternative is "Tezaurus:cs:relative" and "Tezaurus:fi:drunkard" using English headwords prefixed by the language.

Languages that have at least one Thesaurus entry include Czech: WS:příbuzný, Danish: Kategorija:Danski tezaurus unosi, Finnish: WS:juoppo, French: WS:chat, Hindi: WS:मनुष्य, Polish: WS:gruchot, Portuguese: WS:duradouro, and Telugu: WS:కుక్క.

Inclusion uredi

The inclusion criteria for Thesaurus entries are the same as those for the mainspace: Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion.

Additionally, all items in lists of synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, etc. on Thesaurus pages are required to be attested, using the same attestation criteria as the mainspace.[2]

 The second entry is a lazy one. The third one shows no tooltip, but also does not make it clear that one is missing.

Mainspace uredi

Linking from mainspace to Thesaurus entries:

  • Place * Видите такође Тезаурус:headword to the "Synonyms" section, or to the "Hyponyms" section if the Wikisaurus entry contains mainly hyponyms.
  • Especially for Thesaurus entries featuring mostly synonyms, it is good to add a link to the Thesaurus entry from all the mainspace entries for the synonyms, so that the user knows that there is a Thesaurus entry when visiting the mainspace.

Identity uredi

The current title of the project is "Thesaurus" and "Wiktionary Thesaurus". Before mid-2017, it was "Wikisaurus". Alternatives considered include "Wikithesaurus". In the past, WikiSaurus spelling with capital 'S' must have existed at some point.
